Duni Porter, MS, LPC
Duni has a Masters of Science from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas. She is a compassionate therapist dedicated to supporting the mental and emotional well-being of children, adolescents, and adults. With a client-centered approach, Duni helps individuals navigate life’s challenges, including anxiety, depression, behavioral concerns, life transitions, and family dynamics.
Drawing from evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), play therapy, narrative therapy, mindfulness, and solution-focused interventions, Duni tailors each session to meet the unique needs of her clients. With younger children, she often uses creative, developmentally appropriate tools to encourage emotional expression and build coping skills, while with adolescents and adults, she focuses on empowering clients to develop insight, resilience, and healthy relationships.
Duni is known for creating a warm, nonjudgmental therapeutic space where clients of all ages and backgrounds feel heard, supported, and respected.
